Job Description
We are on the precipice of a technological singularity, and we are seeking a visionary Autonomous AI Architect to lead our 2026 roadmap. In this role, you will not just write code; you will architect the foundational neural architectures that will power the next generation of self-sustaining intelligent systems. If you are passionate about pushing the boundaries of AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) and building systems that think, learn, and adapt autonomously, we want to meet you.
At Nexus Horizon, we believe in a future where human and machine intelligence coalesce seamlessly. You will work with a world-class team of quantum engineers, neuroscientists, and data scientists to build the infrastructure for tomorrow.
Why join us?
- Work on the cutting edge of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI).
- Competitive equity package and performance bonuses.
- Flexible remote-first culture with access to state-of-the-art facilities in SF.
- Focus on ethical AI development and alignment.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy scalable, next-generation autonomous agent frameworks capable of complex reasoning and multi-step planning.
- Lead the research and implementation of Neural-Symbolic AI integration to enhance logical inference capabilities.
- Optimize large language model architectures for efficiency, reducing inference costs while maximizing performance.
- Collaborate with quantum computing researchers to hybridize classical and quantum AI models.
- Define the technical vision and architectural patterns for our proprietary AI ecosystem.
- Mentor a team of junior engineers and researchers to foster a culture of innovation.
- Ensure all systems adhere to strict safety, security, and ethical AI compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field with a focus on AI/ML.
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering and machine learning, with at least 5 years in a senior architectural role.
- Deep expertise in Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR) or delivering production-grade AI systems at scale.
- Strong proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and distributed computing frameworks (Kubernetes, Ray).
- Experience with prompt engineering, LLM fine-tuning (LoRA, PEFT), and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.
