Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable machine learning pipelines for aerospace applications.
- Lead the development of the Project 2026 neural network stack and optimization strategies.
- Optimize deep learning models for low-latency edge computing environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional hardware teams to integrate AI into physical systems.
- Establish and enforce architectural standards and best practices across the engineering team.
- Mentor a team of elite data scientists, ML engineers, and researchers.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and technical strategy sessions.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, or a related STEM field.
- 5+ years of experience designing and deploying production-grade AI systems.
- Expert proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and CUDA.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud architecture (AWS/GCP), and Kubernetes.
- Experience with large language models (LLMs), NLP, and reinforcement learning.
- Proven track record of leading technical teams and mentoring junior engineers.
- Certification in AI/ML (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty) is a plus.
