Responsibilities
- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D initiatives in generative AI, quantum machine learning, and neuro-symbolic systems
- Develop strategic roadmaps for AI implementation in healthcare, climate science, and autonomous infrastructure
- Partner with policy advisors to shape ethical AI governance frameworks for 2026 regulatory landscapes
- Direct prototyping of human-AI collaborative interfaces using AR/VR and haptic feedback technologies
- Secure $50M+ in funding from venture capital and government innovation grants
- Mentor a team of 15+ researchers across AI ethics, computational neuroscience, and distributed systems
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature AI and IEEE Future Directions journals
Qualifications
- PhD in AI, Computational Neuroscience, or Quantum Computing with 10+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of deploying production-scale AI systems in regulated industries (healthcare/finance)
- Expertise in federated learning, differential privacy, and explainable AI frameworks
- Published research in top-tier AI/ML conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR) or equivalent impact
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms and their practical applications
- Experience securing DoD/NSF grants and navigating federal innovation ecosystems
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Certification in AI Ethics (IEEE or ACM) and familiarity with EU AI Act compliance
