Responsibilities
- Design quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and simulation of complex molecular systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for 1000+ qubit quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional teams integrating quantum-classical hybrid computing stacks
- Author peer-reviewed publications and secure patents in quantum machine learning
- Prototype quantum-resistant security frameworks for Fortune 500 clients
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering (post-doc preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with superconducting qubits or ion trap systems
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Proficiency in high-performance computing frameworks (CUDA, TensorFlow Quantum)
- Security clearance eligibility or willingness to obtain DoD clearance
- Deep understanding of Shor's algorithm and quantum supremacy principles
