Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics frameworks and governance policies
- Conduct ethical risk assessments for new AI products and features
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure ethical AI design and deployment
- Stay abreast of emerging AI regulations and industry standards, adapting policies as needed
- Lead training and awareness programs on AI ethics for employees
- Engage with external stakeholders, including policymakers, academia, and industry groups
- Monitor and audit existing AI systems for ethical compliance and bias
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, Law, or related field; PhD preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in AI ethics, responsible AI, or related field
- Strong understanding of machine learning and AI technologies
- Experience developing and implementing ethics policies in a tech environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ethical concepts to diverse audiences
- Knowledge of current AI regulations and ethical guidelines (e.g., EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence decision-making
