Responsibilities
- Define Ethical Frameworks: Develop and implement comprehensive ethical guidelines and governance models for our next-generation AI systems and autonomous technologies.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct rigorous risk assessments on emerging technologies to identify potential societal, legal, and ethical impacts before deployment.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and legal teams to integrate ethical considerations into the software development lifecycle.
- Thought Leadership: Publish white papers and speak at industry conferences to advance the global discourse on AI alignment and future tech safety.
- Policy Advisory: Advise executive leadership on the long-term implications of our technological roadmap and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Education: Advanced degree (PhD or Masterβs) in Philosophy, Computer Science, Ethics, Law, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in AI ethics, technology policy, or a related strategic role within the tech industry.
- Technical Fluency: Deep understanding of Machine Learning (ML), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to analyze complex systems and anticipate unintended consequences of technological advancement.
- Communication: Proven track record of translating complex philosophical concepts into actionable technical requirements for engineering teams.
