Responsibilities
- Architect High-Performance 2D Graphics: Design and implement scalable 2D graphics, animations, and interactive elements using HTML5 Canvas, SVG, and WebGL.
- Optimize Rendering: Ensure smooth 60fps animations and efficient rendering performance across a variety of devices and browsers.
- Collaborate with Design Teams: Work closely with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into pixel-perfect, interactive code.
- Component Development: Build reusable, modular front-end components and libraries that enhance our design system.
- Cross-Browser Compatibility: Rigorously test applications to ensure consistent behavior and visual fidelity across all major browsers and platforms.
- Mentorship: Contribute to code reviews and mentor junior developers to maintain high engineering standards.
Qualifications
- Technical Expertise: 5+ years of professional experience in 2D web development with a strong portfolio demonstrating advanced canvas/SVG work.
- Core Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, React, and modern CSS frameworks (Tailwind, Styled Components).
- Graphics Knowledge: Deep understanding of HTML5 Canvas API, WebGL, and animation libraries (GSAP, Anime.js).
- Performance: Experience optimizing web applications for speed, accessibility, and SEO.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
