Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the comprehensive digital strategy for the 2026 Games, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and Olympic principles.
- Tech Stack Management: Oversee the selection, implementation, and integration of core technology platforms, including ticketing, venue Wi-Fi, and broadcasting logistics.
- Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with high-profile technology vendors and external agencies, negotiating contracts and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.
- Data Analytics: Drive the collection and analysis of fan data to optimize engagement strategies and operational decision-making in real-time.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for board members, sponsors, and the general public.
- Legacy Planning: Design post-Games digital infrastructure that benefits the local community and sports organizations long after the closing ceremony.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelorâs degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; Masterâs degree preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in digital strategy, IT management, or event technology, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Event Knowledge: Demonstrated experience working on large-scale international events or complex infrastructure projects.
- Strategic Vision: Proven track record of driving digital transformation and managing multi-million dollar technology budgets.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
- Agility: Experience working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with the ability to adapt to changing requirements.
