The Role:
We are looking for an expert to design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure that powers the 2026 digital ecosystem. This includes managing high-availability cloud environments, integrating 5G networks, and ensuring data integrity for live broadcasts and fan interactions.
Responsibilities
- Architect and oversee the deployment of scalable cloud infrastructure to support over 1.2 million concurrent users during the tournament.
- Collaborate with telecom partners to integrate 5G networks for immersive fan experiences and instant replays.
- Implement robust cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive fan data and broadcasting streams against cyber threats.
- Optimize data pipelines for real-time analytics, AI-driven insights, and social media integration.
- Manage a cross-functional team of DevOps engineers, network specialists, and data scientists.
- Ensure 99.99% uptime for all digital platforms, including ticketing and mobile applications.
- Conduct rigorous stress testing and disaster recovery planning for the 2026 infrastructure.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise-level IT infrastructure and cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Proven track record of managing large-scale events or high-traffic web applications.
- Deep knowledge of 5G technology, SD-WAN, and network virtualization.
- Strong experience in cybersecurity frameworks and compliance (GDPR, SOC2).
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders at the C-suite level.
- Experience with real-time data processing (Kafka, Redis) and big data technologies.
- Willingness to travel to event sites in the US, Canada, and Mexico as required.
