Responsibilities

- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 5-7 year commercialization potential
- Architect strategic roadmaps for sustainable tech integration in Fortune 500 partnerships
- Secure $15M+ annual R&D funding through federal grants and private investment channels
- Present futuristic technology blueprints to C-suite executives and congressional committees
- Drive innovation through patent development (target: 5+ annually) and academic publications
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 8+ years R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Expertise in technology forecasting methodologies and scenario planning frameworks
- Strong network in DARPA, NSF, and venture capital ecosystems
- Published author in IEEE Nature or similar high-impact journals
- Security clearance eligibility or current active clearance
