Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps for quantum computing and biometric AI integration
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year impact
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Author thought leadership papers and represent company at global tech forums
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget for experimental technology prototyping
- Mentor junior futurists and establish departmental best practices
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 companies
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, or Futurist Studies
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Published author in peer-reviewed tech journals or major industry publications
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology impact assessment methodologies
- Deep network of relationships with academic research institutions and VCs
- Experience managing cross-continental innovation teams and budgets >$1M
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, R, or similar)
