Job Description
Join the Architects of Tomorrow.
We are Nexus Horizon, a forward-thinking research lab building the infrastructure for the year 2026 and beyond. We are looking for a visionary 2026 Systems Architect to lead the design of next-generation artificial intelligence frameworks and quantum-ready infrastructure. If you are passionate about pushing the boundaries of what is possible in machine learning and system scalability, we want to meet you.
The Role:
You will be responsible for defining the core architectural principles that will govern our AI systems for the next decade. This role requires a deep understanding of current trends and the foresight to anticipate future technological shifts.
Responsibilities
- Architect Future-Proof Systems: Design scalable, fault-tolerant architectures capable of supporting AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) workloads by 2026.
- Quantum Integration: Oversee the integration of quantum computing primitives into classical AI pipelines to optimize complex problem-solving.
- Neural Architecture Search (NAS): Lead initiatives to automate the design of efficient neural networks for edge devices and cloud ecosystems.
- Performance Optimization: Drive the reduction of latency and energy consumption in deep learning models through advanced system engineering.
- Strategic Roadmapping: Collaborate with C-suite executives to define the technical roadmap for our next-gen product lines.
- Mentorship: Foster a culture of innovation by mentoring junior architects and data scientists.
Qualifications
- Education: MS or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in systems architecture, with a focus on AI/ML infrastructure.
- Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in Python, C++, and Rust; extensive experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native technologies.
- AI Expertise: Proven track record with Large Language Models (LLMs), Transformers, and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Ray, Spark).
- Quantum Knowledge: Familiarity with quantum computing concepts (Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum algorithms is highly desirable.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
