- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning for 2026+ industry landscapes
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights from R&D, product, and market intelligence teams
- Identify and evaluate disruptive technologies with potential to transform business models
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership with data-backed justifications
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring long-term strategic initiatives
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to track frontier developments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Planning, Business Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in corporate strategy, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional analytical and predictive modeling capabilities
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and boards of directors
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
