Responsibilities
- Analyze macro-trends, technological inflection points, and sociocultural shifts to build 2026-2030 scenario models
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for clients in renewable energy, space tech, and neurotech sectors
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to translate foresight into executable roadmaps
- Produce high-impact whitepapers and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Design and maintain proprietary forecasting algorithms using real-time data streams
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford research labs on horizon-scanning methodologies
- Mentor junior futurists while establishing thought leadership in industry publications
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or Quantitative Social Sciences (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven track record of publishing predictive models with 85%+ accuracy
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies, Delphi techniques, and causal layered analysis
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional data visualization skills using tools like Tableau and D3.js
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful client transformations using foresight frameworks
- Fluency in at least two languages beyond English (Mandarin/Arabic/Spanish preferred)
