Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and validate emerging trends with 3-5 year impact
- Develop strategic frameworks for navigating exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Produce annual Future State Assessments for executive decision-making
- Facilitate cross-functional innovation workshops with global stakeholders
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness and track organizational adaptation metrics
- Represent company at global futurist forums and thought leadership platforms
- Build and maintain ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, quantum computing)
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex scenarios
- Credibility in futurist communities (e.g., WFS, AFN membership preferred)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating trend-forecasting accuracy (minimum 85% success rate)
- Expertise in scenario planning and strategic roadmapping methodologies
