Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive forces impacting industries by 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps for organizational adaptation to emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Conduct scenario planning for geopolitical, economic, and environmental shifts affecting 2026 business landscapes
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate future insights into corporate strategy and innovation pipelines
- Produce visionary whitepapers and thought leadership on 2026 market opportunities and threats
- Design and facilitate foresight workshops with cross-functional teams to build future-ready capabilities
- Monitor and analyze global innovation ecosystems to identify partnership and acquisition opportunities
- Report on future-readiness metrics and recommend strategic pivots based on emerging data
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, futurism, or innovation consulting with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with ability to translate complex insights into actionable strategies
- Published thought leadership in futurism or business strategy (peer-reviewed articles, books)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through strategic transformation initiatives
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., Association of Professional Futurists) required
