Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms targeting 2026-era computational challenges
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists
- Develop commercial applications for quantum advantage in finance and healthcare
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding through grant proposals and industry partnerships
- Present breakthrough findings at top-tier conferences (IEEE Quantum Week, etc.)
- Patent novel quantum methodologies and IP protection strategies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum research with published work in Nature/Science journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proven track record of commercializing quantum technologies
- Strong proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Experience with superconducting qubit architectures
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and executive audiences
