Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems using superconducting qubits and ion-trap technologies
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum operations at scale
- Design hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Translate complex quantum algorithms into practical business solutions
- Secure patents for novel quantum hardware and software innovations
- Establish industry standards for quantum security protocols in 2026
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Experience with quantum annealing platforms (D-Wave, Rigetti) or superconducting systems
- Strong publication record in Nature/Science journals or equivalent quantum computing conferences
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Track record of leading quantum projects with $10M+ budgets
