Responsibilities
- Architect quantum algorithms for optimization problems in logistics and cryptography
- Design hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for real-world applications
- Lead quantum error correction protocol development for fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to interface with quantum processors
- Develop quantum machine learning models for predictive analytics
- Present quantum roadmap to C-suite executives and technical boards
- Patent novel quantum computing methodologies and publish in Nature Physics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 8+ years experience)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or topological quantum computing
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or Q# programming frameworks
- Experience with quantum annealing solvers (D-Wave, Rigetti)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts for technical stakeholders
- Security clearance eligibility (government contracts)
- Understanding of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerant computing roadmaps
