Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning frameworks for 2026-era applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing autonomous AI systems with quantum-enhanced decision-making
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry whitepapers
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum-AI hardware-software interfaces
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing principles and AI ethics
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from NSF and DARPA initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Proven track record publishing in top-tier AI/quantum conferences (NeurIPS, QIP)
- Expertise in NISQ-era algorithms and error mitigation techniques
- Strong background in distributed computing frameworks (TensorFlow Quantum, PennyLane)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Experience securing federal research grants preferred
