Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end logistics strategy for 2026 Olympics including venue operations, transportation, and athlete accommodations
- Lead cross-functional teams across 5 time zones to ensure real-time execution of 500+ operational milestones
- Design and implement sustainable supply chain solutions for 2M+ event attendees
- Coordinate with customs authorities for seamless international equipment and athlete transport
- Oversee crisis management protocols for weather disruptions and security incidents
- Optimize last-mile delivery systems for VIP and media operations
- Manage vendor relationships for $30M+ procurement portfolio
Qualifications
- 10+ years in large-scale event logistics with 5+ years in director-level roles
- Proven experience managing complex international operations across multiple time zones
- PMP or CSCP certification required
- Expertise in crisis management and contingency planning for mega-events
- Advanced proficiency in logistics software (SAP, Oracle SCM)
- Strong negotiation skills with $20M+ contract management experience
- Knowledge of Olympic/World Cup operational frameworks
- Fluency in English and Spanish preferred
