Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026 market entry
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating emerging technologies (quantum, biotech, AI) into scalable business models
- Facilitate cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Conduct competitive landscape analysis and patent landscape mapping for emerging sectors
- Present innovation frameworks to executive stakeholders and secure resource allocation
- Build and maintain ecosystem partnerships with startups, universities, and research labs
- Measure and iterate on innovation KPIs using proprietary Impact Assessment Matrix
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, product development, or futures research
- Proven track record launching products with 3+ year market impact cycles
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, generative AI, synthetic biology)
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTE, WFS) or equivalent practical experience
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ innovation projects with measurable ROI
- Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, or Technology preferred
