Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap, identifying disruptive opportunities in AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and strategists to prototype and launch minimum viable products (MVPs)
- Establish strategic partnerships with emerging tech startups and academic research institutions
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning to anticipate market shifts and regulatory impacts
- Drive adoption of agile and lean methodologies for rapid innovation cycles
- Present innovation frameworks and progress to C-suite executives and board members
- Mentor talent in future-focused skills and cultivate an experimental mindset across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership, with proven experience in emerging tech domains
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business; PhD preferred
- Track record of launching at least two successful tech products with global impact
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized systems
- Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into strategic business opportunities
- Experience securing $1M+ innovation budgets and managing cross-functional teams
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation (white papers, patents, or conference keynotes)
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and venture capital community
