Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and assess their commercial implications
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market evolution
- Facilitate cross-functional innovation workshops to generate breakthrough concepts
- Author thought leadership publications and present at global industry conferences
- Advise executive team on technology investments and portfolio prioritization
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and tech pioneers
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic factors influencing technology adoption
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology, Engineering, or Strategic Foresight (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurism roles
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term tech roadmaps
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Portfolio of published futurist work or technology foresight projects
