As a key member of our Innovation Lab, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D teams, and external futurists to translate complex technological and societal shifts into actionable roadmaps. You'll influence product development, policy frameworks, and investment strategies while shaping our corporate vision for the next paradigm shift.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological disruptions (AI, quantum computing, biotech, climate solutions)
- Develop and publish annual 'Future State' reports with strategic recommendations for executive leadership
- Design and facilitate cross-functional innovation workshops using foresight methodologies
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government agencies, and emerging tech startups
- Translate future scenarios into product roadmaps and investment priorities
- Present strategic insights to board members and industry stakeholders at global forums
- Mentor junior futurists and establish the organization's foresight thought leadership
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of translating future trends into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI/ML, Web3, sustainable tech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (white papers, industry journals)
