Responsibilities
- Analyze exponential technology trends (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neural interfaces) to identify disruptive opportunities through 2030
- Develop scenario-planning models for geopolitical, economic, and technological inflection points
- Partner with C-suite executives to translate foresight into product roadmaps and market entry strategies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to stress-test innovation portfolios against future volatility
- Author quarterly 'Future State' reports distributed to Fortune 500 leadership
- Curate and manage the Innovation Radar, a proprietary database of 500+ emerging startups
- Represent the company at Davos, Web Summit, and other global innovation forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent discipline with 8+ years of applied foresight experience
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier industry publications
- Deep expertise in at least two exponential technology domains (quantum, biotech, AI, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized products or policy frameworks
- Mastery of scenario planning tools (STEEP analysis, Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Experience advising C-suite executives on strategic innovation in Fortune 500 environments
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to distill complex futures into actionable insights
