Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 technology foresight framework through trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights from AI, biotech, quantum computing, and climate tech domains
- Produce strategic whitepapers and executive briefings on disruptive technologies with 3-5 year adoption curves
- Establish innovation metrics to quantify future-readiness and track progress against 2026 milestones
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to co-develop emerging technologies
- Present future-state scenarios to investors and board members to secure funding for next-gen initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging technology consulting
- Proven track record developing technology roadmaps with 5+ year horizons
- Deep expertise in at least three of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Certification in futures thinking (e.g., CFTE, WFS) or advanced degree in technology forecasting
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with experience visualizing complex future scenarios
- Demonstrated ability to influence executive decisions through evidence-based futurism
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption (patents, journals, or industry conferences)
