Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies with transformative potential post-2026
- Develop comprehensive strategic frameworks integrating future trends with business objectives
- Produce visionary whitepapers and executive briefings on technological evolution scenarios
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on long-term innovation priorities
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing concepts
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and regulatory landscapes impacting technological adoption
- Represent the organization at industry forums and thought leadership conferences
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field
- Minimum 7 years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights
- Strong presentation and communication skills for executive audiences
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis tools
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic frameworks
