Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify and analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop evidence-based future scenarios and strategic frameworks to guide long-term R&D investments and product roadmaps
- Architect innovative business models and value propositions leveraging AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable tech paradigms
- Lead cross-functional workshops to foster organizational foresight and embed future-thinking into decision-making processes
- Partner with venture capital teams to evaluate and integrate frontier technologies and disruptive startups
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Maintain a dynamic trend intelligence database and deliver quarterly strategic briefings to executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master's/PhD) in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, Economics, or related quantitative field
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, corporate innovation, or emerging technology consulting
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology impact assessment methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.) and their socioeconomic implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to distill complex futures into compelling narratives for diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published future scenarios or strategic frameworks implemented in enterprise settings
- Experience leading global teams and managing multi-year innovation initiatives in tech-forward industries
