Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic, technological, and sociocultural trends to forecast 2026+ industry shifts
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights into actionable innovation roadmaps
- Produce executive-level trend reports and predictive models for stakeholder decision-making
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-state solutions and validate market readiness
- Establish KPIs for tracking horizon-scanning accuracy and strategic impact
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Proven ability to translate complex futures into business strategy
- Exceptional storytelling and executive presentation skills
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating published trend forecasts or strategic foresight projects
