Responsibilities
- Architect and implement a comprehensive 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing prototypes for emerging technologies including quantum algorithms and AI ethics frameworks
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Develop patent strategies and intellectual property portfolios for future-facing innovations
- Present strategic technology visions to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs for collaborative R&D initiatives
- Monitor regulatory landscapes and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- Minimum 8 years experience in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum, or biotech)
- Expertise in technology forecasting and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong background in ethical AI development and responsible innovation frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience securing R&D funding and managing innovation budgets exceeding $5M
