Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech, economic, and social trends to identify disruptive opportunities through 2030
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for quantum computing adoption and AI ethics governance
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership on future-proofing initiatives
- Author quarterly foresight reports with predictive market analysis and competitive positioning
- Design innovation pipelines integrating metaverse, climate tech, and neurotech convergence
- Advose on ethical implications of emerging technologies through Horizon's Future Ethics Board
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, trend analysis, or futurism consulting
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning and scenario development methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive stakeholders and technical teams
- Published thought leadership in futurism publications (e.g., Futures Journal, Techonomy)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
