Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies and societal trends impacting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic plans for 3-5 year future states across multiple industries
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational vision with future opportunities
- Produce executive-level trend reports and predictive analytics for stakeholder decision-making
- Establish innovation pipelines for next-generation products and services
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and thought leadership platforms
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing future-oriented business strategies
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systems thinking
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS or similar) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-focused research or projects
