Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and paradigm shifts affecting 2026 landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for quantum computing, AI governance, and biotech convergence
- Produce annual Future State Index reports with predictive modeling and risk assessment
- Facilitate cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and policy teams
- Design ethical frameworks for emerging technologies (neuro interfaces, climate engineering)
- Represent company at global futurist forums (World Future Society, Singularity University)
- Mentor junior futurists in foresight methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology policy
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and trend impact analysis
- Published research on singularity technologies or climate adaptation strategies
- Proficiency in foresight tools (Gartner Hype Cycle, STEEP analysis)
- Experience working with quantum/AI ethics boards or UN technology committees
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-strategy implementations with measurable ROI
