Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze global technological, social, and economic trends through 2026 horizon scanning
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for disruptive innovations (quantum AI, neuro-interfaces, climate tech)
- Translate foresight research into C-suite strategy roadmaps with measurable KPIs
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' with R&D, product, and policy teams
- Author thought leadership for industry conferences and peer-reviewed publications
- Build strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, World Economic Forum, and NASA
- Advise board on emerging risks and opportunities in 2026+ technology landscapes
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related quantitative field
- 7+ years experience in corporate foresight, innovation strategy, or tech consulting
- Published research on AI ethics, quantum computing, or climate adaptation
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, Delphi 2.0, causal layered analysis)
- Proficiency in Python/R for trend modeling and scenario simulation
- Experience presenting to C-suite and government entities
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful 5+ year strategic forecasts
- Security clearance preferred for classified tech partnerships
