Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze global technological, social, and economic trends impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop innovation frameworks and strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AR/VR, neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology)
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning for disruptive technologies
- Partner with R&D teams to validate feasibility of futuristic concepts
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and industry forums
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and thought leaders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or emerging technology leadership
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized products/services
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AGI, climate tech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Futurology, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published author or speaker at global innovation conferences (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
- Experience leading cross-cultural, cross-disciplinary innovation teams
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning, weak signal detection)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-shaping projects implemented in the last 5 years
