Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology roadmap, aligning with emerging trends in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Lead cross-functional innovation teams to develop patent-pending solutions for next-generation markets
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning to identify disruptive technologies 3-5 years ahead of market adoption
- Partner with C-suite executives to translate future visions into actionable business strategies
- Drive the incubation of new ventures through our 2026 Innovation Lab with $50M+ annual R&D budget
- Represent the company at global tech summits and shape industry discourse on future technologies
- Mentor talent pipeline in emerging fields while fostering a culture of radical innovation
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with proven track record in future-tech commercialization
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: AI/ML, quantum systems, or synthetic biology
- Executive-level experience scaling technology ventures from concept to $100M+ ARR
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology with peer-reviewed publications
- Portfolio of successful product launches featuring breakthrough technologies
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Demonstrated ability to secure $50M+ in R&D funding or strategic partnerships
- Fluency in scenario planning tools and technology impact assessment frameworks
