Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year innovation roadmaps aligning with 2026 technological forecasts
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neurotech, climate tech) for competitive advantage
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype breakthrough solutions
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation bodies
- Present visionary strategies to investors and board members
- Guide R&D teams on ethical implementation of emerging technologies
- Produce annual 'State of the Future' industry reports
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic innovation or technology foresight
- Deep expertise in at least two 2026-critical domains (AI ethics, biotech policy, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products/services
- Exceptional scenario planning and trend analysis capabilities
