Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a multi-horizon strategic foresight framework for 2026-2030
- Lead scenario planning workshops identifying disruptive technologies and market shifts
- Produce evidence-based trend reports and innovation roadmaps for executive stakeholders
- Partner with R&D to prioritize emerging tech investments (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech)
- Design and implement organizational foresight capabilities across global divisions
- Represent Nexus at industry summits and publish thought leadership on future trends
- Mentor cross-functional teams in adaptive innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Proven track record developing 5+ year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and systems thinking
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech trends (AI, quantum, neurotech, climate tech)
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFPC, CFS) preferred
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences and public speaking experience
- Portfolio demonstrating future-focused projects with measurable impact
