Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning research to identify emerging trends, technologies, and market disruptions impacting 2026
- Develop comprehensive innovation roadmaps with 5-year strategic vision
- Partner with engineering and product teams to integrate futuristic concepts into development pipelines
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, design, and business teams
- Establish KPIs for innovation success and track ROI on futuristic initiatives
- Represent Horizon Labs at global tech conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, product development, or futurist consulting
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Proven track record of launching market-disrupting products or services
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Futures Studies
- Exceptional analytical and systems-thinking capabilities
- Strong presentation skills with executive audiences
- Experience with scenario planning and trend forecasting methodologies
- Certification in innovation management or futures studies preferred
