Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market predictions
- Lead moonshot projects in AI ethics, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Partner with C-suite to translate futuristic trends into actionable business strategies
- Build and mentor a high-performing innovation team of 8-12 specialists
- Drive patent development and IP portfolio expansion for emerging tech
- Represent NextGen Dynamics at global futurist forums and tech summits
- Establish KPIs for measuring long-term tech adoption impact
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with proven 5+ year forecasting success
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, AGI, or climate tech
- Published thought leadership in futurist publications (e.g., IEEE Spectrum, MIT Tech Review)
- Track record of scaling innovation teams from concept to commercialization
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding for experimental projects
