Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal trends to build 5-year innovation roadmaps
- Lead high-impact projects bridging futuristic concepts with commercial applications
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for market disruptions and competitive threats
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and think tanks
- Mentor innovation teams in foresight methodologies and strategic execution
- Measure and report on KPIs tracking innovation ROI and future-readiness
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or Business Strategy (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into market-ready solutions
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication experience
- Deep understanding of global megatrends affecting technology and business landscapes
- Certification in futures research (e.g., WFS, APF) strongly preferred
