- Design strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Present future-state scenarios to C-suite executives and board members
- Oversee prototyping of breakthrough technologies in our Austin Innovation Lab
- Drive organizational change management for future-tech adoption
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurist Studies (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in strategic technology leadership with Fortune 500 or high-growth startups
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (AI, biotech, climate tech)
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from University of Houston Futures School)
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
