You'll work in our state-of-the-art Austin hub, collaborating with quantum computing specialists, AI ethicists, and biotech pioneers to shape humanity's technological trajectory.
Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum AI, neural interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Identify disruptive market opportunities through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Present future-vision briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Partner with academic institutions and government labs for collaborative R&D
- Build and mentor a team of futurist researchers and technology scouts
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy or emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing next-gen innovations
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI ethics, biotech convergence
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (Whitepapers/TED talks)
- PhD or equivalent in computational sciences, physics, or biotechnology
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong network with DARPA, NSF, and major tech innovation labs
