Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy for 2026+ horizon, aligning with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in identifying, evaluating, and implementing emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech convergence)
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to anticipate disruptive forces in global markets
- Design innovation frameworks and incubation processes for next-generation solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D leaders
- Monitor ethical implications and societal impact of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or future-focused R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies in Fortune 500 environments
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotechnology, or climate tech
- Exceptional strategic planning and scenario modeling capabilities
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with specialization in innovation
- Experience leading cross-functional global teams with 50+ direct/indirect reports
- Published thought leadership in technology futures or innovation strategy
