Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and ethics teams
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies before market adoption
- Translate exponential tech trends into strategic business opportunities
- Author thought leadership on future tech implications for Fortune 500 clients
- Build and mentor a team of futurists and technology analysts
- Advise C-suite on emerging tech risks and opportunities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or emerging tech roles
- Proven experience with exponential tech forecasting (Moore's Law, Wright's Law)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics
- Published research or patents in future technologies preferred
- Experience building tech roadmaps for Fortune 100 companies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Physics, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical storytelling
- Portfolio demonstrating future-tech analysis or innovation frameworks
