Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics governance frameworks for 2026 product releases
- Lead bias audits and fairness assessments across ML models and datasets
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards into development lifecycles
- Conduct stakeholder workshops to align technical teams with ethical principles
- Research emerging regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, US federal guidelines) and adapt compliance strategies
- Create transparency reports documenting AI system decision-making processes
- Mentor junior team members on ethical AI methodologies and best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in AI governance, responsible AI, or ethics compliance
- Deep understanding of ML fairness metrics (bias/variance tradeoffs, disparate impact analysis)
- Proven track record of influencing technical teams through ethical frameworks
- Familiarity with NIST AI Risk Management Framework and IEEE 7000 standards
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published research or industry contributions to AI ethics discourse
- Experience with agile development methodologies and ethical design sprints
