Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and molecular modeling
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Collaborate with MIT and Caltech on quantum supremacy benchmarks
- Drive commercialization of quantum applications in finance and healthcare
- Secure $10M+ in federal grants for 2026 quantum initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science with 8+ years of R&D
- Published 10+ papers on quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDKs
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems below 20mK
- Track record of securing NSF or DOE quantum grants
- Expertise in quantum machine learning frameworks
- Strong background in superconducting or trapped-ion architectures
