Responsibilities
- Lead System Architecture: Design and oversee the implementation of robust, scalable system architectures for next-generation AI and data platforms.
- Future-Proofing Strategy: Analyze emerging technologies and trends to propose architectural shifts that keep our systems relevant beyond 2026.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with data scientists, backend engineers, and product managers to translate complex requirements into technical blueprints.
- Optimization & Performance: Drive performance tuning, security hardening, and cost optimization for distributed cloud environments.
- Technical Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation and technical excellence within the engineering department.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s or PhD preferred).
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior architect role.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in languages such as Python, Go, or Java; deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and containerization (Kubernetes/Docker).
- Cloud Mastery: Extensive experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- AI Integration: Experience integrating AI/ML models into production environments and understanding of LLMs (Large Language Models).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
