Responsibilities
- Directly supervise 8-12 weekend shift staff across warehouse and distribution areas
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols and company quality standards
- Coordinate real-time inventory management and order fulfillment operations
- Implement process improvements to boost weekend productivity by 15%
- Conduct shift handovers and prepare detailed operational reports
- Resolve escalated customer inquiries and vendor coordination issues
- Train new personnel on weekend-specific procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/supply chain management or supervisory role
- Proven weekend shift management experience in warehouse/distribution
- OSHA certification and forklift operation skills mandatory
- Strong conflict resolution and team leadership abilities
- Advanced knowledge of WMS systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
- Flexibility to work Saturdays/Sundays 6AM-6PM
- High school diploma; bachelor's degree preferred
